one of these days I&#039;ll write the story of my early days here in Portland. Perhaps one of those places a writer can get by on the cheap and find some stories. There are some stories in this loneliness of being out here all alone, knowing so few here, none that I would consider deep  enough in my heart to rely upon. A few characters that certainly aren&#039;t worthy of getting there, a few kind strangers...

but, essentially alone. All those dear gone or far away.

and a great friend, dear and far, writes a beautiful post that makes me cry in the beauty of it&#039;s message...

not so alone.

confident. courageous. fearless. happy. at home.</description>
