A second novel will be out soon, but not really soon, as it is still being edited. When it appears, it will be called "The Queen of the Night" and say "Houghton Mifflin Harcourt" on the spine, plus my name. Details will appear here and also on alexanderchee.net.
Now that some of the indie production companies have signed deals with writers I think it’s only a matter of time before the big boys cave. Not that writers will be treated any better after negotiations are completed, we’re still the lowest creature on the totem pole, the true creators who NEVER get deserved credit (or thanks)…
Yes, we’ll see. They must really want that 4 cents they don’t want to give us, though.
